About

One of my favorite art works is by Jim Dine. The piece is a photo of two people taking a selfie in a room. It’s framed with a handwritten message:

“There was that time when she loved me and we were happy. Look. See for yourself.”

Photos and videos have the power to remind you of love;

the sound of your daughter’s giggle when she was 8-years old,

that story your grandmother told over and over with her beaming grin at the end,

and the moment when your family was together laughing,

talking over each other, jumping on a trampoline,

playing with the new puppy.

It’s about remembering.

It’s about capturing the story of that moment in time, before it’s lost forever.

So often I hear parents say, “They grow up so fast!” Friends who’ve lost their parents or grandparents tell me they wish they had a recording of Mom being Mom.

I create keepsake films, heirlooms that let you revisit the past in an authentic, visual way.

The films are windows into a time that went by too fast, a way to see and hear your parents, a way for children to connect with grandparents they never had a chance to meet, how it felt the week before you got married and the week after, a way to see your 5-year old when he’s 17 and 32 and 40.

It’s an affirmation that “that” happened. You were there.

And look, you can see for yourself.

I would love to help you capture a special moment in your life.

I look forward to talking with you soon and creating something special.

My Background/Experience

I’ve been a storyteller and journalist for more than 20 years. I’ve been producing documentary-style short videos for nine years. I’ve also directed an award-winning documentary feature film, and I’ve indulged by passion for portrait and street photography professionally.

It’s a privilege to meet someone and hear his or her story. I love listening. I love helping people connect to ideas and people, and helping create something memorable to share with family and friends forever.

I also love dogs, hiking, salty snacks and doing good in the world.
